In April, Kevin toured us not only to the tulip fields of the Skagit Valley, but also around the Seattle area. These are scenes from our visit.
In April, 2022, Kevin took us not only to the tulip fields of the Skagit Valley, but also toured us around Seattle and Puget Sound. Following are images from our visit.
College friends Deroy and Linda Mahagan have called Everett, WA their home for many years. Their back yard and deck face the Olympic Mountains and a busy seaport. Sunsets with good friends, family and a glass of Washington wine are spectacular at their home.
Kevin's work with Trane takes him all over the area. One job was for the US Navy at Keyport where they store and test underwater drones and torpedoes. At the base museum, we saw these ships (left) that were designed to rescue sailors from damaged submarines. The image below is a sail from a nuclear submarine. The real submarines are based nearby.

One day the rain made outdoors activities less than fun, so we toured the Dale Chihuly art exhibition at the base of the Space Needle.
