This past November, Nancy and I were fortunate to accompany my brother Robert and family friends on a journey to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley and Antelope slot canyons near Page AZ.  The National Park was mostly open and the weather was pleasant. There was persistent light smoke/haze in the Canyon from nearby power plants. Our days were windless, so the haze never really cleared out. I was able to reduce some of it in post-production, but not all.  It was my  brothers first visit to that part of the world, which made it special for all of us.

After one night in Monument Valley, we headed to the Grand Canyon for a four-day stay. Each day we picked a new area of the South Rim to explore, mostly using the Park's shuttle buses.
